Addiction Treatment

We can treat your addiction. That may sound unlikely or even impossible, but we have a proven track record of helping those struggling with addiction to not only to become clean but to avoid relapse as well. We can treat you if your addiction has caused problems at work, if it’s strained relationships with those you care about, or caused you to forgo activities that you previously enjoyed. But, we can also treat you if you just want to stop, if you want to improve your overall well-being.

Our experienced staff, led by double board-certified physician Dr. Salisu Aikoye can create a personalized treatment plan for your addiction. Then, we can adjust it as you continue on the journey of recovery so that you always receive the right care for your needs.

Outpatient Detox

Perhaps you’ve tried to stop the substances or behaviors that you’re addicted to in the past but have been unable. Through our ambulatory detox program, you can cleanse yourself of toxins, all without having to spend the night here. You’ll conduct much of the detox at your home, checking in with us throughout the week during the day. That way, we can provide you with care and treatment, all while monitoring your progress. Every detoxification is different, and many present challenges, but our staff can guide you through detox safely.

PHP

The highest level of care, our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) is for those who require more structured treatment. Often, someone dealing with addiction will join our PHP after completing detox or even do so after inpatient treatment elsewhere. While our PHP is an outpatient program, it is more extensive than any traditional outpatient program. In this program, you will be here for six to eight hours a day, five days. Through our PHP, you can focus entirely on your recovery while still heading home in the evening.

IOP

IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) is just as intensive as our PHP, however, you’ll spend less time here. Most IOP treatment plans at Sal Rediscovery include the patient being onsite for six to nine hours a week. As such, you can continue to go to work, to school, to take care of your day-to-day responsibilities. When you initially arrive at Sal Rediscovery, our trained medical staff will conduct a thorough evaluation. We’ll cover your history, your health, a psychological evaluation, and more. From that, we’ll create your treatment plan and explain your options.

Counseling

Every treatment plan is different at Sal Rediscovery, yes, but just about all of them involve therapy. Here, an experienced therapist will help you not just with your addiction but also with its underlying causes. They’ll work with you to discover those, and then, by addressing that, you’ll be able to better avoid relapse when you complete the program.

Medication

If you’re struggling with a substance use disorder, we can provide medication management as well. With this, we’ll administer medication that can help your addiction (such as Suboxone, Vivitrol, and others) in a safe, secure environment. We also monitor your medication, so as to minimize the side effects and make certain you’re always receiving what’s best for you right now.

Treatment for Your Addiction

The above is a very brief description of how we treat addiction. The truth is that there is far, far more to it than that. If you’re dealing with addiction right now, know that there is help. It may not seem that way. It can feel as if you’re always going to be fighting your addiction, that you have no real power. But, that’s not the case. We can work with you to take those next steps on your journey of recovery so that you can lead the life that you want.
