Substance Abuse Treatment

substance abuse sal rediscovery

Has your drinking begun to affect your job? Has using drugs strained relationships with the ones you love? Did you find it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to stop consuming the substances or even to slow your usage? If so, then our substance abuse treatment may be able to help. Here at Sal Rediscovery, we can tailor a personalized substance abuse treatment plan to your specific needs.

Substance Abuse Symptoms: When to Get Help

Physical symptoms of substance abuse include not being able to sleep or sleeping too much, losing weight rapidly or putting a large amount of weight on, feeling withdrawal symptoms if you even try not to use the drug, and so forth.

Some of the most pernicious symptoms are behavioral. You should get help if you find yourself doing things that you wouldn’t ordinarily do to acquire the substance. If you ignore your responsibilities at work or school to get the substance, if you steal money or engage in other risky behaviors, if it seems like your life just revolves around acquiring the substance, then it’s worth it to reach out for help.

Substance Abuse We Treat

At Sal Rediscovery, we offer substance abuse treatment for those struggling with many different kinds of substances. Some of those substances include alcohol, heroin, heroin, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, opium, morphine, fentanyl, codeine, and even tobacco.

Many come for our substance abuse treatment after they feel like they’re no longer in control, but, you do not have to wait till that point. If you feel that you’re developing a problem, that you’re on the verge of struggling, contacting us sooner than later can help you to live your life how you want.

Opioid Abuse: All Too Common

Of all of the forms of substance abuse treatment, some of the most common we see involve opioid abuse. Opioids (which consist of fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and others) are often prescribed medication. Blocking signals in your brain that cause pain, they make you feel pleasant, relaxed, and even euphoric. Unfortunately, some become addicted to these drugs and continue to use them, ultimately becoming dependent upon them and abusing them.

Even if this has happened to you, we can create a customized treatment plan to help your substance abuse. Through a combination of therapy, medication-assisted treatment (including Suboxone, Vivitrol, or other forms of medication), and even cutting-edge technology such as transcranial magnetic stimulation, we can work with you to help you to both get sober and avoid relapse as you continue your journey of recovery.

A Treatment Plan for You

At Sal Rediscovery, we offer integrative, holistic care. We treat the body as well as the mind: the entire person. Many who struggle with substance abuse often begin care at Sal Rediscovery through our ambulatory detox. In that program, you can cleanse your body of all of the toxins that substance abuse may have accrued, ultimately getting a fresh start from your chemical dependency. You can do all of this by being monitored and guided by our experienced professionals, even while sleeping in your own bed at night.

We also offer a PHP (partial hospitalization program) and an IOP (intensive outpatient program). Our PHP is our highest level of care: six to eight hours a day for up to five hours a week. You’ll receive extensive therapy and counseling, education, training, and more, all while developing better skills for coping as well as other life skills that will serve you long after you’ve left Sal Rediscovery.

Our IOP contains just about everything that our PHP does, only it does so in six to eight hours a week. Through our IOP, you can continue to go to work, school, meet other daily obligations, and so forth.
