ALCOHOL ABUSE

If your alcohol consumption interferes with your daily life, we can help. If you’ve tried to stop or even cut back on alcohol only to find it essentially impossible, we can put together a personalized treatment plan that can help in a variety of ways. At Sal Rediscovery, we have assisted many over the years in first, getting sober, and then, developing the kinds of empowering skills that enable you to stay that way. With the right treatment, you can rediscover the real you, so that you can live the life that you want.

Personalized Treatment for Alcohol Abuse

Alcohol abuse is a more common problem than many realize, but each person’s situation is different. What is very effective for someone else might not be the best, most effective treatment for you, and vice versa. As such, when you arrive at Sal Rediscovery, we give you a thorough evaluation. This covers your health, your history, your drinking, and so much more. Then, with that information, we’ll create an individualized treatment plan that’s right for you and you alone. Many treatment plans share similarities, but your treatment will offer what’s best for you.

Detox

As hard as it may be to believe when you’re in the throes of struggling with alcohol abuse, detoxification is possible. At Sal Rediscovery, our trained staff can guide you through detox so that you can remove all of the toxins from your body in the safest, most secure way possible. Detox may present challenges, such as withdrawal symptoms and more. However, we can help you to manage them as comfortably as possible, reducing their severity to the fullest extent, all while ensuring that you’re OK. Detox may not be easy, but we can make it easier for you than it would have been otherwise.

PHP or IOP

After completion of detox here at Sal Rediscovery, many then transition to either our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) or IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program). PHP is our most intensive treatment program. With this, you’ll be at our facility for hours a day, several days a week. With our IOP, you’ll be here at Sal Rediscovery for fewer hours, but there’s nothing “lesser” about this program at all. In both, you’ll learn and develop important life skills that can help you to stay sober and improve your quality of life, too. We’ll help you set goals, meet them, identify your negative behaviors, and replace them with positive, healthier ones, among so much else.

Mental Health Treatment

We took the name “Sal Rediscovery” for many reasons, not the least of which is that we help our patients with quite a lot in the way of “discovery.” Case in point, with alcohol abuse, we don’t just treat the alcohol abuse itself. Rather, we treat it as a symptom. Specifically, it’s a symptom of some underlying causes, some underlying traumas. We help you to discover those and then we work with you on them. We’ve found that, over time, this can provide the best, most lasting results for our patients.

Dual Diagnosis, Holistic Treatment, and More

Many who struggle with alcohol abuse also struggle with some kind of mental health concern as well. “Dual Diagnosis” treatment deals with both simultaneously. By treating both at the same time, time spent making progress on one does not lead to exacerbating the other. Always, our treatment takes a holistic approach: we treat the body as well as the mind and spirit. So, we’ll work with you on developing healthy living habits, dieting, exercise, and other life skills.

One Step to Take

When you’re fighting alcohol abuse, when you’re trying to quit drinking and it feels like you can’t, it’s natural to seem as if you’re alone. That’s not true, however. Here at Sal Rediscovery, we can help with exactly that: rediscovery of who you are and who you want to be. To start the process, you can message us through our site or call.
