DETOX

If you’ve tried to stop abusing drugs or alcohol and just haven’t been able to, we may be able to help. Just because you’ve been unable to stop in the past doesn’t mean it’s impossible, rather, all it means is that you could use some assistance. At Sal Rediscovery, our ambulatory detox programs make it possible for you to safely and successfully detoxify, cleansing your body of toxins. Moreover, you can do so at home, both continuing your daily life and receiving treatment from trained medical professionals.

Expert Detox Management

The usage of drugs and alcohol takes a significant, negative toll on your body in any number of ways, not the least of which is how it changes chemicals in your brain and elsewhere in your body. Your body becomes dependent upon the toxic substance. So, even if you try to quit all by yourself without any medical assistance, it can be both impossible and, due to withdrawal symptoms, even potentially dangerous.

Here at Sal Rediscovery, our team can conduct a safe and comfortable managed detoxification. We can guide you through the detox process every step of the way, thus lessening withdrawal symptoms. That way, you can come through the process clean, ready to start anew. Detox may never be “easy” but with our help, it can be easier than it would be otherwise.

Ambulatory Detox: Detox on Your Terms

Addiction treatment is not the same for every single person. Always, we create a personalized treatment plan for each of our patients, one that meets their specific needs. Ambulatory detox is the best fit for those who have support at home, someone our staff can meet with and involve in your detox.

With our ambulatory detox, you don’t spend the nights here at Sal Rediscovery. Instead, you go home to your family. You’ll make scheduled trips here during the day. We monitor your progress closely, so as to help you to manage the side effects of detoxification.

What You Can Expect from Ambulatory Detox

When you’re here, we aren’t just giving you a “once over” and sending you on your way. No, we design and implement a personalized treatment plan for you. So, our experienced team will provide cognitive behavior therapy. Through this, we won’t just treat your symptoms, but rather, we’ll help you to find the underlying traumas and causes for your addictions. With that, we can work with you to be able to better manage triggers as they arise, so you can be prepared for day-to-day stress.

Some individualized treatment plans may include group therapy, family therapy, and other forms of treatment, potentially even including medication to assist withdrawal. Your sessions here may last for half of or all of the day, but, rest assured, at the end, you’ll go home.

Care Beyond Detox

When you come through the detoxification process, you’ll be clear of all those toxins that have been in your body. But, detox doesn’t fully address all of the social and behavioral problems as well as the psychological ones that drive addiction. As such, detox, by itself, really can’t provide the kinds of lasting changes that can help you to live your life how you want.

To that end, we offer a PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program). For many who come through our detox, these are the next step. In both, you can receive the kind of treatment that will make it possible for you to not just avoid relapse but to enjoy your life along the way.

Take the First Step

Ambulatory detox is a way to truly get “clean,” but to do so without having to step out of your life entirely. Instead of putting everything on hold to start fresh, you can do it while still going to work, going to school, and being there for the others in your life. To see if you’re a good fit and to start the process, you can message us through our site or call.
