What Could Necessitate Treatment?
Too often, when someone hears the word “trauma,” they think of someone having been physically struck, attacked, assaulted, and so forth. Yes, those kinds of events could cause a trauma response. However, trauma can result from any event (or even experience) that makes you feel harmed, be it psychological, emotional, or otherwise. So, yes, trauma can result from violence, but it can also come from bullying, the death of a loved one, experiencing homelessness, losing a job, suffering an injury, an illness, and more.
Symptoms that Trauma Treatment Might Be Right for You
If you’re dealing with an emotional response to trauma, you may struggle to trust others. You could develop negative beliefs, about others, the world, or even yourself that take a toll on your life, holding you back. it could be that you stay away from places, folks, or even things that serve as reminders of the traumatic experience, to the point where it affects how you function. If any of that sounds familiar to your experience, it’s worth it to reach out to see if you can benefit from help.

Here, you’ll receive therapy, treatment, and so much more at Sal Rediscovery six to eight hours a day five days a week. Our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), on the other hand, is for those who require a bit less time in treatment but still require a treatment no less intensive.
